Har! Har! I love
this article from Chow. I have always enjoyed the nasty canned cranberry sauce of my childhood, and no amount of persuading from my foodie husband can dislodge me from this position. I KNOW it's awful red goo, but it conjurs some great memories. Besides, it's got those fabulous can ridges for perfect cutting! This author does a wonderful job of outlining "our" position.
